R10 million liability insurance policy

We understand that your car is important to you and that you want to know it’s safe, and so do we. That’s why RentMyRide has a ‘Unique Insurance Cover’ in place that provides 10 Million Rand liability cover, that protects you against claims from third parties for injuries and property damage incurred whilst your car is rented out via RentMyRide.

You are also protected against physical damage to your car, up to the actual retail value, for losses due to collisions and most “comprehensive” causes (fire, theft, etc.).

Please Note: RentMyRide’s insurance will only be active during the rental periods which are booked through the RentMyRide platform. It is important for you to know that your regular insurance policy will not cover your car whilst under rental.
